Deloitte Startup Innovation Challenge

Is your startup about to disrupt healthcare? Then make sure to compete at the Deloitte Startup Innovation Challenge on September 14! Deloitte and Singularity University organize this event in the run-up towards the Exponential Medicine Conference in San Diego.

 

The winning startup will receive access to world-class thought leaders, healthcare experts and opportunities for further development:

 

  • The winning startup will get an all-expenses paid trip to participate in Deloitte’s Innovation Lab Booth in San Diego. The winners also get the chance to compete in the MEDy Awards at the Exponential Medicine conference. ( October 8-11, 2016)
  • The winning startup will be offered the opportunity to pitch their innovation at the reunion day for the VvAA participants of Exponential Medicine trip.

 

STARTUP INNOVATION CHALLENGE

The incoming wave of exponential technologies brings enormous possibilities to change and improve healthcare. Whether it’s Genomics, A.I., Robotics or other technological fields, these exponential technologies will disrupt any inertia this industry might have. We invite all Dutch innovative healthcare startups to take part in the Startup Innovation Challenge, enhance their innovations and progress the health of people in our world.

 

The contest is divided in several phases:

 

  1. Applications

Competing startups can apply between August 1 and September 2.

  1. Selection of finalists

Representatives of Singularity University, Deloitte, VvAA, STZ and Rockstart will select 6 finalists from the pool of applicants.

  1. Final Pitch Day

The top finalists get to do 5 minute pitches in front of a panel of judges.

 

APPLICATION

Do you think your startup makes the cut? Apply to show your startup at the Startup Innovation Challenge. You can apply by sending in a two page memo explaining the problem and your solution to it. (See the PDF for all requirements.) The application deadline is September 2.
